GPTA, SSG Honor Educators
GIVING WHAT'S BEST. Supreme Student Government officers served as emcees for the program that celebrates our dear educators.
Last October 4, 2016, San Juan National High School celebrated the Teachers’ Day at the school lobby to recognize and honor the educators of the school, this thru the partnership of the General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) and the Supreme Students Government (SSG).
The theme for this year’s Teachers’ Month celebration is “Guro: Kabalikat sa Pagbabago” valuing the importance of teachers around the world as catalysts of change in nation building.
The GPTA and SSG teamed-up to provide memorable treats for the teachers including a program that highlights them.
The event was divided into two parts. In the morning session, the teachers listened to a talk about spiritual advices to help them get going in the profession while the afternoon session included different treats that entertained the teachers.
During the afternoon session the teachers were bestowed with different awards much to their delight such as “Most Friendly Award”, “Hugotera Award” and more. Everyone was given a “Great Teacher Award” certificate to acknowledge all their hard works.
A special citation was also given to Mrs. Lucila Artuyo for being the newly appointed principal and partly for being a teacher herself.
Parlor games, raffle draw and a bingo game ended the activity.
SPA students were in support rendering different production numbers throughout the program.
