TLE Department Holds Pageant, Promotes Healthy Lifestyle
In celebration of the Nutrition Month, the TLE Department conducted a pageant as its culminating activity that was held at the school’s quadrangle last July 29. The activity aimed at educating the students about healthy living.
Aptly titled “Mr. and Ms. Fit and Bright” the event, hosted by Mr. John Paolo Alad and Ms. Allaine de Leon both TLE teachers, was participated by five male and six female contestants coming from different grade levels. All went through different tasks including a preliminary activity where each contestant displayed their talents.
During the culminating activity, the contestants don their sportswear which was intended to make the audience realize how doing sports can keep us fit, while the highlight of the event saw the contestants wore costumes made of different vegetables to show how it makes us healthy. The Q&A portion revealed how bright and witty the contestants are.
Decided by a three-member judging panel, the title “Mr. and Ms. Fit and Bright” was eventually awarded to Dave Lorenz Orlaza and Brithany Guansing from grades 7 and 9 respectively.
