Three Interact Clubs from SJNHS Now in Effect
The interact sponsored clubs of San Juan National High School and its officers headed by the Science Department took their oath of office at the school’s Audio Visual Room last July 29.
Three clubs from SJNHS had its induction on the said date and are now duly recognized as effective clubs. The induction of officers was made possible with the joint effort of the Science Department and the San Juan Rotary West.
The clubs were the Science Club, Enviroteens (former Ecosavers) and the Boy Scout of the Philippines-SJNHS. All these clubs are headed by teachers from the Science Department with Ms. Melanie Fernandez, Mrs. Ira Liwanag and Mr. Ruel Liwanag handling each respectively.
“As an officer you must lead your club truthfully,” said Victor Tejano, the guest speaker from Rotary Club of San Juan West.
The Officers were introduced to the audience before taking oath. Matt Angelo Lim was designated President for the BSP-SJNHS, Hannah David for the Enviroteens and Winnona Ong for the Science Club.
In the insights for the inauguration of the officers, Ms. Fernandez told the clubs should help each other perform to aim high.
Officers of both BSP-SJNHS and Science Club presented an intermission number to entertain the guests and to show their talents. A photo-op for the whole club and its sponsors was conducted before ending the induction
